Car Parking Facilities:Car parking Facilities are available online for Fallowfield Campus only at a cost of £160.00 for the academic year.

Bedding Packs: To assist you and limit what you have to transport to the hall you can order a bedding pack online. The price for a single bedding pack is £20.00 and the pack includes a hollow fibre pillow, a 13.5tog duvet, a sheet, a pillowcase and a duvet cover. Ashburne Hall is a small friendly hall with a peaceful environment for study, yet in the heart of the Fallowfield campus. This hall has a strong sense of community with good facilities and rooms that are often larger than modern student rooms.

Ashburne Hall has a mix of Undergraduate and Postgraduate (mixed) rooms. Postgraduate rooms that are let for 51 weeks are self-catered. A limited number of Postgraduate 40 week lets are catered. Postgraduate and mature students are made to feel welcome and are fully integrated into the Hall, but have separate accommodation (60 rooms).

Residential Tutors help to ensure a supportive and friendly atmosphere and there are shared activities with brother hall, St Anselms, and with fellow residents in Sheavyn House. Meal times are flexible and students will find a good choice of food.

The hall also has a small computer cluster, common rooms with newspapers, a music room with pianos, a library and launderette facilities. There is also a badminton court and all weather sports pitch.

* In some communal areas in University of Manchester halls of residence there are University access points for wireless. These will always show up as University when your computer scans for local wifi. You can use these to connect to the Internet. Students are prohibited from setting up their own wireless access points in hall. Please note wifi access does not generally extend to bedrooms. However all bedrooms do have wired access to the Ethernet - for more information on this service consult the HORNET pages.
